This is our third stay, and we are more impressed with each stay.  The wine is great; the villas are magnificent; but it is the casual friendlienss and efficient professionalism of the staff that keep us coming back.  We have had the pleasure of enjoying the excellent service of the staff at the front desk, the wine shop and tasting room during our recent stay.  Thanks to the entire staff, we'll be back soon."

"Wow. Where do I start? My boyfriend and I came here for our 6 year anniversary for a two night stay in their Premium Villa to take advantage of a 'Romance and Ride' package they were offering. Every single staff member was so accommodating and helpful from check in to check out. We utilized every aspect that this resort has to offer. We went horseback riding through the vineyards at sunset and it was just me, my boyfriend and the instructor on horses that were picking grapes straight off the vines. Had a delicious lunch at the Restaurant (Beef Dip & Turkey BLT - mmm!! ) We both got hour long massages at the Grape Seed Spa (so relaxing!!) and took a night swim in their Saltwater Pool (its huge) and Jacuzzi, it was completely empty when we went at night! The tasting room was amazing and our barista was super generous with our pours as we were interacting with her and left her a generous tip - tip your bartenders people! Concierge at the front desk was beyond amazing and generous with every aspect- even hooked us up for a tour of the facility- once again for free! Our villas view was unbelievable, literally a patio sitting RIGHT in the vineyards with a view of Mount Palomar. How anyone has ever had a negative experience at South Coast is beyond me, this place was as close to paradise as it gets and I CANT WAIT to go back!"  

"WORTH THE TRIP -- My husband & I stayed at South Coast winery & Resort to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary.  The resort is definitely worth the money.  The room was very comfortable and clean.  It had a nice view of the vineyards with a seating area.  The restaurant was outstanding.  Both the food and service were excellent.  We also had an amazing time in their tasting room.  The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly.  We are looking forward to going back!" -- June 24, 2009 Post by ssbishop of Palm Desert on TripAdvisor. 

"EVEN THE PICKIEST TRAVELERS WILL LOVE IT!  -- Anyone will tell you that I am extremely picky when it comes to travel.  I can find something wrong with almost any room, and tend to dwell on the small details.  I could not find anything to complain about at this resort!  It was simply amazing..."

I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you for helping make our stay at South Coast winery an extra special one. We had an amazing time touring the winery and tasting a few of the wines you offer. I see why the winery won the award of winery of the year! That night we went for a walk among the vineyards, I got down on one knee, and told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. And she agreed, and said yes! We came back and enjoyed some appetizers, and toasted with a bottle of South Coast Brut! It was delicious! We also signed up for the wine club, so we are looking forward to more excellent bottles to come! And thank you again for the tour of the winery. I had a vision in my head of how I wanted things to go, and it could not have gone more perfectly. And now, we have a place to go back year after year to celebrate our anniversaries, and remember the extra special day. Take care, and thank you again for everything!

My wife and I have stayed in some of the nicest resorts in many places in the world. (She is a former flight attendant and I am a college professor, so we get to do quite a lot of traveling.) We both agree that your resort accommodations are absolutely "first class." The service was good, and we really appreciated our early check in on Sunday. Next time, we plan to stay two nights to take better advantage of your resort. Thank you.

When my husband and I visited your property, we stayed the night in the villas, had dinner at the Vineyard Rose and finally finished our stay at the Spa. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with outstanding service. It was so relaxing. The food at the Vineyard Rose was delicious and our waiter was outstanding. We will definitely be back and tell our friends. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The room was beautiful! We loved sitting outside on our patio with the vines surrounding us. The villa was quiet; we couldn’t even hear our neighbors. The whirlpool bathtub was wonderful with every toiletry you could imagine. Thank you!

The room was gorgeous! Loved the whirlpool tub and large two-head shower. Very luxurious. How great it was to have grapevines right outside our door! Loved the fireplace too.

This was our third visit. Top notch service, and the rooms are well stocked. The view from the outdoor patio seating is excellent. We love the restaurant and will try the spa on our next visit.

Everything about the room was perfect! I loved the atmosphere and the complimentary bottle of wine was a great touch.

We were married in October and came to South Coast Winery Resort and Spa for our honeymoon. We had such a great time. Beautiful area and the staff was fantastic. Our wine tasting server was fun and friendly, and we became wine club members because of her. Our server at the Vineyard Rose restaurant did a fantastic job. We love it here and will come back again.
